That is a lot to ask of any human, especially considering how much we are all juggling.

The leadership at Coinbase, Lyft, Checkr and other high-flying startups are grateful that their coach, Khalid Halim, didn’t skip out on a class called Military Science as an undergrad at UCLA. What he thought was a throwaway course delivered one of his most valuable insights:
Companies need different kinds of leadership at different stages. And there’s a very specific kind of leadership needed in an organization that’s changing fast — so fast that the office you leave at night is different from the one you walk into the next morning.
Human vision is incredible - most of us are capable of seeing around 1 million colours, and yet we still don’t really know if all of us perceive these colours in the same way. But there’s actually evidence that, until modern times, humans didn’t actually see the colour blue.
With her husband out of work, a heavily pregnant Kendra Scott knew she had to come up with a way of making some money. On bed rest at home in Austin, Texas, awaiting the birth of her first child, she started designing jewellery in their spare bedroom.
